      <image:caption>Matthew Buechler received his PhD in the laboratory of Dr Jessica Hamerman at the University of Washington. He performed his postdoctoral training with Dr. Shannon Turley at Genentech. Dr. Buechler started a laboratory at the University of Toronto (UofT) in the Department of Immunology (DoI) in 2021. He serves as the DoI Associate Chair for Wellness, Inclusion, Diversity and Equity and the Director of the Centre for Immune Analytics. He also an Affiliate Scientist at the Schroeder Arthritis Institute / UHN and an Affiliate Member of the Acceleration Consortium at UofT. He has addition memberships with the Banting and Best Diabetes Center and the PRiME consortium at UofT. He is Chair of the Stem Cell Network Early Career Researcher Committee.</image:caption>
